Cefaly is a drug-free method for treating and preventing migraine headaches using neurostimulation. The device is placed on the forehead and produces a mild electrical stimulation similar to TENS. Cefaly can treat active migraines and daily use has been shown to decrease migraine frequency. The first generation device, which looks like a headband, is available in Canada whereas the second generation device is available in the US and Europe.
