Check-in questions

We have had some questions about our self check-in process and the need to show a valid BC Services Card every visit.

You will receive an email 1-2 days prior to your appointment that asks you to confirm your appointment and to complete a brief pre-visit health review. If you don’t have an email, don’t receive the email or choose not to do the survey online you will be asked to complete the form in the office before your appointment.

When you arrive at the clinic you will be asked to check in again at the kiosk. This check-in confirms your address and contact information are correct. Prior to this check, we were finding patients’ addresses and phone numbers were often very out of date.

We are asking you to self check-in and update this information to allow our MOA to focus on other patient-oriented tasks such as answering phones and patient questions.

You are required to show a valid BC Services Card every time you access publically funded health services in BC. This is a BC Ministry of Health requirement.
